Effective Date: April 10, 2012; amended July 1, 2021
Board Policy Reference: DH, FLA, and GDA
Purpose
The safety of the entire college community is a primary concern of the Blinn College District. During designated quiet hours, no loitering is allowed on any college district-owned or controlled property on the Blinn-Brenham Campus.
This procedure is not intended to be a curfew. Students going from the library, cafeteria, etc., to their dorms, vehicles, etc., are not considered loitering as long as they are en route to their destination.
Definitions

This includes hanging around in groups and creating or causing unusually loud and/or disturbing noises and/or wandering around residence halls.
- Camping, Sleeping, and Overnight Stays
- All camping, sleeping, and/or overnight stays on college district-owned or controlled property that are not previously authorized are prohibited.
Authority
