Carpentry Certificate Level II
Program Description: This award provides entry‐level skills for students seeking work as a general construction carpenter.
Courses provide instruction in basic construction site safety, OSHA 10, building materials, fasteners and adhesives, hand and power tools, construction drawings, specifications, and layout, floor systems, wall systems, ceiling joists, roof framing, introduction to building envelope systems, and basic stair layout.
Students who receive this award will also receive a level one completion in Carpentry from The National Center of Construction Education and Research (NCCER.).
