Political Science Field of Study, AA
Program Description: The Field of Study Associate of Arts in Political Science completes the course of study for the first two years and provides flexibility for students. The AA-Political Science (FOS) requires 60 credit hours, including 9 credit hours of political science coursework, 3 credit hours in math coursework, 6 hours of directed electives, 33 credit hours in General Education Core, and 9 hours of elective credit hours. Students should check with transfer institutions before registering for general studies electives and directed electives to make sure your courses will be degree-applicable to your bachelor’s degree at the desired transfer institution.
