HVAC Occupational Skills Award (OSA)

This award provides entry‐level skills for students seeking work as a skilled heating and cooling technician.
Courses provide instruction in basic construction site safety, OSHA 10, introduction to HVAC, trade mathematics, basic electricity, introduction to heating, introduction to cooling, introduction to air distribution systems, basic copper and plastic piping practices, soldering and brazing, and basic carbon steel piping practices.
Students who receive this award will also receive a level one completion in HVAC from The National Center of Construction Education and Research (NCCER.).
