This award provides entry‐level skills for students seeking work as a skilled facility maintenance technician.
Courses provide instruction in basic construction site safety, OSHA 10, electrical safety, basic electricity, electrical systems, construction drawings, materials handling, basic communication skills, basic employability, specialized tools, introduction to roofing, wall systems, and floor repair.
Students who receive this award will also receive a level one completion in Carpentry from The National Center of Construction Education and Research (NCCER.).
