Blinn’s reputation for helping students transfer to the state’s leading four-year universities has made it a destination college for Texas students. In fact, according to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Blinn’s academic transfer rate of 45.9% ranks No. 1 in the State of Texas.

As university tuition rates continue to rise, community colleges such as Blinn continue to offer the greatest value in higher education. During the 2020-21 academic year, Blinn students save 44% in tuition and fees compared to the average state university.

Blinn offers a variety of financial aid options to make your college experience even more affordable. For the 2020-21 academic year, Blinn awarded more than $400,000 in scholarships. Through a single scholarship application, students can apply for approximately 300 endowed scholarships. Additionally, Blinn students can receive academic, athletic, and fine arts scholarships, and our Financial Aid Department can assist you in exploring whether grants, loans, or work-study options would work best for you

Whereas professors at universities can have significant research responsibilities and may assign much of their instructional responsibilities to a teaching assistant, Blinn College professors have one goal – to help you succeed in the classroom.

There’s no one-size-fits-all approach at community colleges, and that includes Blinn’s six campuses. At the Brenham Campus, Blinn offers on-campus housing, intercollegiate athletics, and an array of student activities for a rich experience both inside and outside the classroom. At the Bryan Campus, more than 8,000 students enjoy a commuter experience just minutes away from Texas A&M, and at the RELLIS Campus, students can dual enroll with one of The Texas A&M University System regional universities also located on-site. In Schulenburg and Sealy, students enjoy Blinn’s outstanding academics at small-town, intimate campus locations.
