How to get involved and make new friends in college

One of the most popular ways to get involved on campus is by joining a club or organization. At Blinn, we have approximately 70 recognized student organizations, including academic, social, religious, social, and professional groups. By joining a club, you can meet new people who share similar interests, gain leadership skills, and contribute to the campus community. Volunteering can be a great way to give back to the community while also building your resume and gaining valuable experience. Blinn offers a variety of service clubs, and our service learning classes blend classroom instruction with service opportunities.

Blinn hosts a wide variety of events throughout the year, such as concerts, guest lectures, plays, athletic events, and celebrations. Internships are an excellent way to gain real-world experience in your field of interest, and many Blinn programs include internships as part of your degree plan.
