HAZARD ANALYSIS [M]
Blinn College District campuses and facilities are exposed to hazards, natural and “man-made,” that have the potential for disrupting normal working operations, causing casualties and damage to critical infrastructure. Historically, the campuses and facilities of the Blinn College District have suffered localized damage from severe weather events and dealt with the various health and economic impacts of a world-wide pandemic. Lesser incidents impacting the campus community have been limited to food-borne illness and protective responses enacted by Blinn College District law enforcement officials while assisting surrounding jurisdictions with active threats and fleeing suspects. While not an exhaustive list, a summary of major hazards is provided on the table below:
