Blinn’s Associate Degree Nursing Program prepares you for a rewarding career as a registered nurse. Through a combination of classroom learning, hands-on training, and real-world clinical experiences, you’ll build the knowledge and skills you need to provide quality care in hospitals and other healthcare settings.
Whether you’re beginning your nursing education or you’re already a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) ready to take the next step, Blinn offers a pathway for you. Choose our traditional two-year program or the LVN Transition Option designed for current LVNs.
Throughout the program, you’ll learn from experienced faculty, practice your skills in realistic healthcare environments, and gain valuable experience caring for patients.

In-depth clinical training prepares Blinn ADN students for success
Blinn ADN students complete 512 hours of hands-on, supervised clinical training, gaining experience with patients while forming strong connections with Bryan/College Station healthcare facilities. These experiences not only enhance their skills, but can also lead to employment opportunities. Students rotate through multiple specialties, including mental health, labor and delivery, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), intensive care unit, emergency medicine, surgery, telemetry, and more.
