State Fire Fighters' and Fire Marshals' Association (SFFMA)

Organized in 1876, the State Firefighters’ and Fire Marshals’ Association is Texas’ oldest and largest fire service association, serving the fire and emergency responders of Texas and beyond. SFFMA’s membership includes over a thousand fire departments, 20,000 individual members, numerous industrial facilities, fire marshal offices, EMS departments, and many fire service-related organizations committed to the betterment of the Texas emergency services.

Scheduling

The Blinn College Testing Center proctors SFFMA exams weekdays at the Tejas Center located at 3125 S. Texas Avenue in Bryan, and at the RELLIS Campus located at 1366 Bryan Road in Bryan. Testing is by appointment only.

Step 1: Register in Portal, Log in, and Check Eligibility Make sure you have registered your account in the SFFMA PORTAL.

Log into your PORTAL account and click the “Testing > Eligibility” link on your dashboard. Click “View” to see if you are eligible for the exam(s) you desire. Pay the required fee online if the exam or exams are still in the “Requires Payment” column. Once paid, an exam will move to the “Awaiting Scheduling” column.

Step 2: Getting Scheduled for Your Exam(s)

Once an exam is displayed in the “Awaiting Scheduling” column of the exam eligibility page, you can schedule an appointment with Blinn College by visiting our scheduling page. Once you schedule an appointment, you will receive a notification email that includes the link to pay the $15 Blinn College proctoring fee.

Step 3: Exam Day

On the day of the exam, be sure to bring a valid photo ID to the testing location.

Cell phones and other electronic devices must be kept in a secure location (not easily accessible by you) and be set so that they do not cause a disruption during the exam.
