Blinn Athletics Branding
Athletic Identity
Blinn College Athletics maintains a distinct visual identity that complements the College’s overall brand while representing the spirit and strength of Buccaneer Athletics. Official athletic marks include approved variations of the Buccaneers logo, the Buccaneer mascot, and sport-specific team marks.
Athletic logos are reserved exclusively for athletics-related programs, teams, and events and must be approved through CLC prior to use. Non-athletic departments must use the official institutional or unit logos. All merchandise, apparel, and external uses of athletic marks must follow established branding standards and receive proper approval before production.
Blinn Athletic Team Lockups
Official team lockups are available for all Blinn College athletic teams for use on web, print, and apparel. High-resolution files are provided exclusively through Blinn’s licensing partner, CLC, and may only be created by the Marketing and Communications Department. Lockups must not be recreated, altered, or modified in any way.
Buccaneer "Buc" Mascot Logo
The Buccaneer “Buc” mascot, adopted in 1932, is a historic and spirited symbol of the College. The current Buc represents strength, courage, and perseverance and is an official registered trademark of the Blinn College District.
The Buc logo must not be altered and must always face right. While it may be used to promote school spirit, it does not replace the official Blinn College District institutional logo, which must be included in non-athletic projects. Athletic usage is the exception and does not require the official Blinn College District logo. Four approved color versions of the Buc are available to Blinn approved vendors.
