Pursing your Associate of Science Degree in Engineering? Get calculus-ready prior to the fall semester!
Nothing is more important than a solid foundation, and for students pursuing Blinn’s Associate of Science Degree in Engineering, that includes being prepared to take MATH 2413: Calculus I during their initial fall semester.
Prior to enrolling in Calculus I, Blinn students must meet one of the following course prerequisites: | |

Score between a 276 and 300 on the Math Placement Exam | Qualified for Calculus I |
Score a 650 or higher on the math portion of the SAT | |
Score a 28 or higher on the math portion of the ACT | |
Complete MATH 2412: Pre-Calculus with a "C" or better | |
Complete both MATH 1314: College Algebra and MATH 1316: Plane Trigonometry with a "C" or better |
By signing up for Blinn's Engineering Launch, an engineering advisor can help you schedule an exemption exam or register for the summer courses you need to be calculus ready. Each of the courses required to be calculus-ready will be available online this summer:
