One-Time Scholarship Application

Thank you for your interest in supporting students through the Blinn College Foundation Scholarship Program. Donors who wish to establish a one-time scholarship are invited to complete a short form that helps the Foundation office gather the information needed to promote and administer the scholarship.

The information provided will assist the Foundation staff in preparing a brief description of the scholarship, determining eligibility requirements, and ensuring the award aligns with the College's scholarship policies. Once the form has been submitted, the Foundation office will review the information and may contact you if additional details are needed.

Information You Will Be Asked to Provide

  • Total scholarship amount
  • Area of study the scholarship should focus on (if applicable)
  • A short description that may be used to advertise the scholarship
  • Eligibility preferences for recipients (freshman, sophomore, or no preference)
  • Any required major or program of study
  • Minimum GPA requirements, if applicable
  • Whether the recipient must demonstrate financial need
  • Donor contact information

Blinn College Scholarship Recipient Requirements

  • The applicant must be enrolled as a full-time student during the semester the scholarship is awarded.
  • The recipient must maintain an overall grade point average of at least 2.0.
  • Student work hours must not exceed 70 hours during the award period, unless the student is graduating during that period.
  • The student must remain enrolled as a full-time student during the award period.

Additional Information
