Beginning in fall 2026, the Blinn College District will offer an Associate of Applied Science degree pathway designed to place you at the forefront of one of today’s fastest-growing fields.
Blinn’s AAS in Artificial Intelligence focuses on the technical side of AI, including cloud computing, machine learning, data science, networking, and infrastructure. The technical AI program partners with industry leaders such as Google, Microsoft, and Amazon to offer curriculum aligned with industry standards and opportunities to earn professional certifications, giving graduates a competitive edge in the job market.

Blinn also offers an Associate of Applied Science in Artificial Intelligence in Business that combines artificial intelligence coursework with business fundamentals, preparing students to use AI tools for decision-making, operations, and digital innovation.
Degree and Certificate Plans
The AAS in Artificial Intelligence requires 60 credit hours and offer certificate options for students seeking shorter pathways into the workforce.
Fundamentals of AI and Cloud Credential
Build in-demand technology skills and prepare for two AWS certifications in as little as four weeks through Blinn’s Fundamentals of AI and Cloud credential.
Through a single course, ITNW 1009: Fundamentals of Cloud Computing, you will gain practical experience in cloud computing and artificial intelligence while preparing for two industry-recognized certifications.
The Artificial Intelligence AAS and Level-2 Certificate, and the Artificial Intelligence in Business AAS, Level-2 Certificate, and Occupational Skills Award are offered online and on the Brenham and RELLIS campuses.
Graduates of the Artificial Intelligence program may pursue careers in areas such as cloud architecture, AI development, machine learning, and infrastructure support.
