AAS Degree in Veterinary Technology

Upon the successful completion of the program, students are awarded an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Veterinary Technology and are eligible to sit for their national (Veterinary Technician National Exam) and state (Licensed Veterinary Technician Exam) credentialing exams.

Successful completion of both exams leads to the conferring of Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) status by the Texas Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (TBVME).
