What should Blinn College employees do?

All Blinn College employees are obligated to immediately notify Title IX personnel of all information regarding student sexual discrimination, harassment, misconduct and/or violence.

EXCEPTION:  Blinn College counselors and nurses are not obligated to notify Title IX personnel UNLESS the complainant chooses to disclose the information.

Tips for employees receiving information regarding Title IX violations:

  • STOP THE COMPLAINANT and advise them you are obligated to report any information they disclose to Title IX personnel (It is up to the complainant whether to report but resolution is limited if they do not disclose)
