Academic Scholarships

Blinn offers the following academic scholarships:

Valedictorian Scholarship: Blinn offers the valedictorian of any Texas high school a scholarship that can be received for up to four long semesters (no summer school) if the student maintains a 3.0 or better GPA and completes a minimum of 12 hours each semester.  The scholarship must be used the first long (Fall or Spring) semester after high school graduation and must be utilized consecutively.

Salutatorian Scholarship: Blinn offers the salutatorian of any Texas high school a scholarship that can be received for up to four long semesters (no summer school) if the student maintains a 3.0 or better GPA and completes a minimum of 12 hours each semester.  The scholarship must be used the first long (Fall or Spring) semester after high school graduation and must be utilized consecutively.

UIL Scholarship: Specific requirements to receive this scholarship are pending. 

Athletic Scholarships

Blinn College provides a number of scholarships in varying amounts to its Brenham campus student-athletes in football, men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, cheerleading, athletic trainers, and athletic managers. Fine Arts Scholarships

At Blinn, we are fortunate to be able to offer scholarships to students who wish to participate in music regardless of major. They are valued at up to $1,500 (this top amount typically is able to cover full tuition) per semester. They are awarded based on musical ability and the recommendation of a high school ensemble director. Endowed Scholarships

A large number of endowed scholarships are available to Blinn students. Established as endowed funds, the interest from these funds is awarded annually in the form of one or more scholarships. Information concerning the establishment of a new endowed scholarship can be obtained by calling the Office of the Chancellor at 979-830-4112.
