Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham
The Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham provides talented students an opportunity to pursue their engineering degree while co-enrolled at Texas A&M University and the Blinn College District. Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham students take their math, science, and engineering courses on the Brenham Campus together while living as a community in Blinn residential housing.
Texas A&M College of Engineering faculty teach Texas A&M engineering courses for Academy students on the Brenham Campus providing a world-class engineering education with unparalleled convenience. Students who successfully complete the program with a minimum 3.75 grade point average at Blinn and Texas A&M earn automatic admission to their first-choice engineering major.

Blinn College Apply Texas application opens for fall 2024.
Fall and Spring
Engineering Programs Online Information Session
These events include separate breakout sessions for students and families interesting in learning more about the Engineering Program at Blinn as well as the Engineering Academy.
January 2024
The Blinn College review process begins. Students who meet the prequalification requirements for the program will begin receiving the Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham program applications via email.
April 1, 2024
Priority Deadline for pre-qualified students to complete the Academy program application and submission of required documents
April 2024
Texas A&M begins releasing program decisions. Admissions processing for Texas A&M may take 4-8 weeks once the student has completed the program application and submitted all required documents.
June 15, 2024
Program Application deadline for the Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn-Brenham for fall 2024. Upon acceptance into the program, students should also complete an application for Blinn on-campus housing.
July 2024
Texas A&M Engineering Academy at Blinn - Brenham program orientation for admitted students.

Admissions Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma, GED, or a college/university degree
- Complete the Blinn College District application for admission at www.goapplytexas.org (select Engineering as your major and Brenham as the campus).
- Submit proof of bacterial meningitis immunization
- Submit an official high school transcript, GED certificate, and/or college transcripts (if applicable).
- Submit ACT or SAT scores. If not exempt by SAT, ACT, or STAAR exams, submit TSI scores. See TSI information.
