For co-enrolled students and other visa holders beyond the F-1 visa holders, all documents must be submitted and processed prior to the day before classes begin for the desired academic term. B-visa holders cannot enroll under this visa designation.

International Student Arrival and Orientation Dates

Students holding an F-1 Visa are only allowed to enter the United States 30 days prior to the first day of school.

Orientation is mandatory for all new international F-1 students and transfer international F-1 students. Failure to attend the posted orientation date or arriving late to orientation will result in an immediate termination of a student’s I-20 and students automatically will be moved to the following term. No exceptions will be made to this policy.

International Student Check-in

All F-1 international students must complete the International Student Check-in once they arrive in the United States each semester. The International Student Program (ISP) office will open the check-in process 30 days prior to the start of the term. Students must check-in no later 11:59pm the day before the first day of class for the term.
