Brenham Campus Simulation and Clinical Labs

The Brenham Campus Simulation and Clinical Labs are located on the second floor of the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Innovation Building in the Sally Blackie-Sengel Health Sciences Suite. In the 1,659-square-foot vocational nursing lab and the 756-square-foot hi-fidelity lab, students participate in hands-on learning exercises using:

• 10 hospital bays in Room 215 fully equipped to simulate a typical hospital room with a bed, infusion pumps, vital sign monitors, and live powered headwalls for oxygen and suction;
• four bays equipped with monitoring systems and cameras for recording activities for later analysis;
• hi-fidelity interactive simulators for advanced skills, including a mother/baby space to simulate childbirth and after-birth delivery assessment;
• two pediatric simulators,
• a conference room where students and faculty can review simulations on video and analyze performance.
