The Blinn College District invites prospective students to take the next step toward their educational goals during its upcoming Waller Registration Day from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at the Waller Workforce and Technical Education Complex, located at 30029 Binford Park Road in Waller.

The Registration Day will provide personalized, on-site assistance for students interested in enrolling in Blinn’s fall second 8-week term, which begins Monday, Oct. 19, as well as prospective students preparing to attend Blinn in fall 2027.

During the event, attendees can meet one-on-one with Blinn staff, receive assistance completing their application for the fall second 8-week term or fall 2027, explore course options, learn more about available educational pathways, and register for classes if eligible. The event makes the enrollment process convenient and accessible while helping students take the next step toward a Blinn education.

“Waller Registration Day gives students an opportunity to sit down with our team, get their questions answered, and complete the steps they need to begin their Blinn journey,” said Max Hibbs, Executive Dean of the Waller Campus. “Whether they are ready to begin classes with our second 8-week term this October or are planning ahead for fall 2027, our team is ready to provide personalized assistance and help them get started.”

The Waller Workforce and Technical Education Complex offers students access to career and technical education opportunities as well as academic courses designed for university transfer. The facility represents the latest expansion of Blinn’s presence in the Waller community as the College District continues development of its future full-service Waller Campus.

Blinn’s second 8-week courses provide students with an accelerated opportunity to earn college credit while completing the same course requirements as a traditional 16-week class. Available course offerings can help students begin their college education, continue working toward a degree, or make additional progress toward graduation.

With tuition and general fees that save students 52% compared to the average state university, Blinn remains one of the most affordable higher education options in the region.
