Blinn choirs to host fall concert on Saturday, Oct. 21

Fall choir concert will be staged in Finke Recital Hall on Brenham Campus

The Blinn College District choirs will host their annual fall concert on Saturday, Oct. 21.

The fall choir concert, featuring the Blinn chamber choir, concert choir, and faculty, will be staged at 2 p.m. in the C.F. Schmidt Building’s Finke Recital Hall at 800 College Avenue (map) on the Brenham Campus. The concert will be directed by Blinn Choir Director Daniel Trevor Bircher, with Pamela Connolly and Joshua Destoville as pianists.

Free tickets are available at www.blinn.edu/boxoffice and the performance will be streamed on the Music Department YouTube Channel .

“We invite the public to hear our talented choir students and faculty as they perform at the free concert,” said Todd Quinlan, Performing Arts Department Head. “We always enjoy showcasing their talents.”

Blinn’s Music Department offers small classes, one-on-one attention, practical learning, and accessible faculty so that students are actively engaged in a superior learning environment. Students can pursue an Associate of Arts Degree in Music that provides a solid foundation in the creative and technical aspects of music, including music theory, history, composition, and performance.
