Blinn College Livestock Judging Camp

Blinn College District Virtual Livestock Judging Camp: June 8-10, 2020

Beginning and advanced livestock judging youth will be able to take part in the very first Blinn College District Virtual Livestock Judging Camp hosted with!

The livestock judging camp will be held June 8-10, 2020, for ages 8-18. We will have separate sessions in the camp for Novice (8-13) and Experienced (14-18) as well as a separate contest with awards for winners in each division.

The $150 cost for the camp includes apparel and the camp book. Space may be limited, and the deadline to sign up is June 1, 2020. 

Camp participants will get an up-close look at Blinn College-Brenham Campus and the W.J. “Bill” Rankin Agricultural Complex through a virtual tour of the facility.

The camp is taught by Blinn livestock judging instructors, including the coaches for the nationally competitive Blinn College livestock judging team. Participants will learn what to look for in an animal, the basics of reasoning, and what judges look for in a competition.
