Sadaf Shireen, May 6
Sadaf Shireen is a senior at Brenham High School, graduating in the top 1% of her high school class while also earning her Associate of Arts degree from Blinn College. Her academic journey reflects exceptional discipline and a drive to push beyond traditional boundaries as she thrived in rigorous collegiate coursework while still in high school.
Driven by a passion for medicine and innovation, Sadaf has pursued research at the intersection of biology and artificial intelligence, focusing on the early detection of cardiovascular disease. She serves as president of the Health Occupation Students of America, leading her chapter to historic milestones, and is the Founder of MedTalks, a nonprofit that has connected physicians with hundreds of students to expand access to healthcare education in underserved communities.
Sadaf has been accepted to Brown University, the University of Texas McCombs School of Business, Stanford University, and other top-ranked institutions. She plans to pursue her education at Johns Hopkins University—home to the #1-ranked school of public health—where she will study molecular and cellular biology on the pre-med track.
Daniah Syed, May 7
Daniah Syed was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan, where she completed her high school education through the British system. A dedicated golfer for more than 10 years, she earned the opportunity to compete as a member of the Blinn College women's golf team while pursuing her Associate of Science in Education.
Following graduation, Daniah will transfer to Texas Southern University, where she plans to continue her collegiate golf career while pursuing a degree in political science.
She aspires to create meaningful change in Pakistan’s education and sports systems by advocating for student-athletes who face challenges in unsupportive environments. Her goal is to help develop opportunities and accommodations that allow students to pursue both their academic and athletic ambitions without having to choose between the two.

The distinction of Summa Cum Laude is bestowed upon those graduates earning an overall grade point average of 4.0 to 3.9. Magna Cum Laude is awarded to those graduates with grade point averages of 3.89 to 3.70. Cum Laude graduates are those with grade point averages of 3.69 to 3.50.
