Blinn College District announces new Waller Workforce and Technical Education Complex
Blinn will open new facility to expand its Waller course offerings and support local industry needs.
Scheduled for completion in time for summer 2026 classes, the Waller Workforce and Technical Education Complex will feature three lecture classrooms, a computer learning lab, a medical learning lab, a mechatronics/advanced manufacturing lab, a skilled trades lab, and faculty and staff offices.

Blinn has a new administration office in Waller! Located at 31406 FM 2920, Suite B203 in Waller, the new office is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and serves as a hub for students seeking assistance with applications, payments, academic advising, and financial aid.
Blinn completes purchase of 100-acre Waller site that will serve as the home of its sixth campus
The Blinn College District has finalized the purchase of a 100-acre site at 29638 FM 2920 in Waller that will be home to a comprehensive commuter campus offering both academic and workforce training programs.
“Today’s announcement marks a historic moment for the Blinn College District and for the Waller-Harris County community,” said Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District. “We are excited about the opportunities this new location will provide, offering programs that will inspire, empower, and equip our students for success. Our future is brighter than ever, and we are eager to begin this next phase of growth with the support of our students, faculty, and local partners.”
Earn your associate degree in mechatronics
In addition to its array of core academic courses, Blinn is offering the opportunity to earn occupational skills award, Level-1 and Level-2 certificates, and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in mechatronics in Waller!
At our state-of-the-art mechatronics lab, Blinn-Waller students will receive training on FluidPower, electricity system, MechLab Mechatronics Training System, mechanical systems, sensor equipment training, and industrial motor controls workstations, as well as universal robotic arms and programmable logic controllers trainers.

Blinn College-Waller is located in a dedicated wing at Waller ISD’s W.C. Schultz Junior High School at 20950 Field Store Road.
The campus is open to Blinn students from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
Parking is available in the designated lot outside the Blinn College entrance on Field Store Road. This lot will be the first right turn for drivers on Field Store Road as they approach the campus from Highway 290. Students do not need a Blinn parking permit to use this lot.
Washington County is the only county that pays taxes to Blinn College; as a result, Washington County residents pay the in-district tuition rate. Students from other counties, including Waller and Harris counties, do not pay taxes to Blinn College; as a result, they pay the out-of-district tuition rate. Blinn-Waller does not have a bookstore, but students may purchase items online through the Barnes & Noble Official Campus Bookstore website.
