Fire Science Academy
The Blinn College Fire Science Program, in partnership with Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), offers students access to the renowned Brayton Fire Training Field in College Station. This collaboration provides Blinn students with 12 weeks of practical, hands-on training using firefighter props, equipment, and apparatus in addition to classroom instruction covering fire protection, life safety, and program management.
Note: Only students with a current EMT certification/license are eligible for the Fire Science Academy.
Enrollment in the Blinn College TEEX/Texas A&M partnership academies is limited. Contact the Blinn College Fire Science Office for enrollment information and to discuss requirements for attendance.
