The Blinn College District Board of Trustees approved a $134.2 million budget for Fiscal Year 2027 during its regular meeting Tuesday.
The budget includes a 2% salary increase and tiered longevity pay for full-time employees. In April, trustees voted to keep tuition and general fee rates the same as the previous year.
In other business, trustees received an enrollment report that showed Blinn’s spring enrollment continues to climb. With 16,600 students, Blinn’s spring 2026 enrollment increased 3.31% over the previous year and marked the College’s largest spring population since the COVID pandemic.
That growth included a 21.91% increase in dual-credit enrollment and a 9.85% increase on the Brenham Campus. The enrollment report also showed 891 students enrolled for May minimester, down 6.41%, and 5,158 for the summer I term, down 9.41%.
Registration is currently open for Blinn’s summer II and fall terms. Summer II classes begin on July 6, and the fall semester begins on Aug. 24.
