Blinn-Schulenburg assisting students and families with new FAFSA applications

The Blinn College-Schulenburg Campus is offering expert help to students and their families navigating the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application process.

FAFSA Night will be held Monday, April 15 at 5:30 p.m. in Liberal Arts Building Room 127. A financial aid specialist will be available for consultations in completing the 2024-25 FAFSA forms. No appointments are necessary, ensuring accessibility for all interested students.

The U.S. Department of Education earlier this year unveiled a new FAFSA application, which was streamlined from more than 100 questions to about 35. Blinn College has been holding informational sessions on completing the new applications.

Students are urged to complete the forms as soon as possible for the fall 2024 semester.
