The Blinn College District and Brenham police departments, Washington County Sheriff’s Department, Brenham Fire Department, Washington County Emergency Management, and Washington County Emergency Medical Services will host National Night Out at the Blinn College-Brenham Campus Student Center on Tuesday, Oct. 3, from 6-9 p.m.

National Night Out will provide an opportunity for Blinn students, faculty, staff, and members of the Washington County community to meet first responders. The agencies will bring emergency response vehicles and equipment for the community to view and refreshments will be served.

“National Night Out is not just an event; it is a powerful symbol of unity and collaboration between law enforcement and the community we serve,” Blinn Assistant Police Chief Jennifer Taylor said. “This gathering provides an invaluable platform for our residents to engage with their local police officers, ask questions, and build trust. We encourage everyone to join us on Oct. 3 and take this opportunity to meet our law enforcement professionals who work tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of Brenham and Washington County.”

The Blinn Police Department is a state-certified agency with more than 30 commissioned officers and support staff. For more information, visit www.blinn.edu/police-emergency-management.
