2,550 Blinn College students are named fall 2022 chancellor's and deans scholars

1,205 students earn Chancellor's Scholar honors with GPAs of at least 3.75

The Blinn College District has named 2,550 students to its academic honors lists for the fall 2022 semester.

Blinn named 1,205 students to its Chancellor’s Scholars List and 1,345 to the Deans’ Scholars List. To be named a Chancellor’s Scholar, students must earn a 3.75 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses. Students must attain a 3.25 GPA, complete at least 12 credit hours, and pass all their courses to earn Deans’ Scholar recognition.

“It is an honor to congratulate these students on their hard work and many achievements during the fall semester,” said Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District. “I also would like to thank the dedicated faculty who helped guide and support these students on their journey to academic success.”

Blinn’s honorees came from across the State of Texas and beyond, including Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.

Blinn honors students also hail from across the globe, including Belize, Brazil, Canada, China, Colombia, England, Finland, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, India, Poland, South Africa, South Korea, Switzerland, and Venezuela.
