Sign up for the 5th Annual Blinn Blitz
Service Learning Project to be held on Friday, April 25 from 1-3 p.m. Students should sign-up in the Student Leadership & Activities Office or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Students should meet at 12:45 p.m. on April 25th in front of Old Main. If possible, students should wear a Blinn t-shirt. Students will be helping community members and local agencies with various service tasks.
What is Service Learning?
Service Learning combines community service with classroom instruction
or student club activities, focusing on critical, reflective thinking
and civic responsibility to engage students. Service Learning programs
involve students in activities that address local needs while developing
their academic or professional skills and commitment to their community.
Blinn College offers two Service Learning options: course-imbedded Service Learning and student leader/organization based. To find more information about the option you are interested in, please click a link on the left hand menu.
