Blinn-Schulenburg offering spring community and workforce education classes
Courses include career training, personal enrichment, continuing education

Blinn College-Schulenburg will offer community and workforce education classes ranging from conversational Czech to beginning computer during the spring 2022 semester.
Classes include workforce education that can prepare a student for a career and courses solely for personal enrichment,” said Dr. Becky Garlick, Executive Dean of the Schulenburg Campus. Scholarships are also available for some of the classes.”
Classes include:
- Health Professions: Certified medication aide, March 29-Aug. 9; medication aide refresher, May 27; clinical medical assistant, sessions from Jan. 18-Feb. 26 and Feb. 28-May 12; and pharmacy technician, Jan. 18-April 16.
- Workforce Education: Beginning computer I, Feb. 7-March 9; beginning computer II, March 28-April 27; and dietary manager program (call for details).
- Continuing Education: Electrician license renewal, sessions Feb. 17 and April 28.
- Languages: Conversational Czech beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes. All classes are available online (call for details).
- Leisure Learning: Basic digital photography, Feb. 22-March 10; advanced digital photography, March 29-April 14; Anyone Can Draw, March 1-8; Create Unique Cards (all materials are provided), March 29; and basic watercolor, April 5-19.
