Updates to the Organizational Chart
Vice Chancellor for Student Services Karen Buck intends to retire after 25 years with the College

The Blinn College District recently updated its organizational chart to reflect new responsibilities amongst the College’s leadership team.
Karen Buck, Vice Chancellor for Student Services and Administration, recently informed the College that she intends to retire this Fall after 25 years with Blinn.
“We are very thankful to Vice Chancellor Buck for her incredible service and look forward to honoring her retirement at an upcoming board meeting,” said Dr. Mary Hensley, Chancellor of the Blinn College District.
To ensure a smooth transition, Dr. Diane Lovell has been selected to serve as Vice Chancellor, Student Services, and Jay Anderson will serve as Vice Chancellor, Health Sciences, Technical Education, and Community Programs.
Additionally, Executive Vice Chancellor Leighton Schubert will add the supervision of campus and College operations to his current duties, Ted Hajovsky will serve as General Counsel, and Marie Kirby will become Vice Chancellor for Human Resources, expanding her oversight in professional training and employee engagement.
