Live social media events connect incoming Blinn students with the latest info for the Fall semester

Back With Blinn Q&As allow students to ask general questions about registration, advising, and life on campus this Fall

In response to the popularity of its Back With Blinn Q&As on Facebook and Instagram, the Blinn College District is offering even more social media events to keep incoming students and their parents up-to-date with the latest information.

Beginning today, Blinn will host live social media events four times per week to answer student questions heading into the Fall semester. These live Q&A sessions will take place on Instagram at noon on Mondays and Wednesdays and on Facebook at 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At each event, a member of Blinn’s staff answers student questions regarding registration, advising, and life on campus this Fall.

In preparation for the Fall semester beginning Monday, Aug. 24, the Back With Blinn plan outlines the steps Blinn is taking to keep its campuses safe and to continue to provide a quality class experience for its students. For full details, visit

Prospective students can apply to Blinn via the application. Once admitted, they can register for classes at Blinn recommends that all students speak to an academic advisor prior to registering for classes. Blinn’s academic transfer rate is the highest in the state, according to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and data from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s shows that out-of-district Blinn students taking 30 credit hours will save $4,514 (44%) in tuition and fees compared to in-state residents at the average Texas public university.
