Electrician Pre-Apprenticeship Program

In partnership with Workforce Solutions Brazos Valley, the Blinn College District offers a grant-funded, six-week Electrician Pre-Apprenticeship Program at no cost to students.

The program is open to individuals 18 years of age or older who have:

  • a photo ID,
  • a social security card,
  • and a high school diploma or GED.

Through this non-credit program, students can explore this exciting career path at no cost, working with experienced faculty to learn about basic theory, electrical conduits, electrical safety and tools, and wiring design. Students who complete the 144-hour course will earn their Blinn College Certificate of Completion and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 10-hour certification.

Classes will be available throughout the year.
