Occupational Skills Award in Water Purification (CWP)
This award provides entry‐level skills for students seeking work as a skilled Clean Water Professional. Courses provide instruction in basic water works operation, surface and ground water treatment, evaluating chemical solutions and reactions, operating water distribution and storage facilities, quality assurance and control, applying principles of statistical sampling, defining the characteristics of wastewater, wastewater treatment process, identifying state and federal rules and regulations, and minimization and pollution prevention.
