Phlebotomy Technician
200 Hours

This comprehensive 200 hour Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares students to function as a Phlebotomy Technician. This individual plays a vital role in the operations of the clinical laboratory. One of the most important duties of the Phlebotomy Techician is to obtain blood specimens from patients. The act of taking blood from a vein is called "phlebotomy" and the person who draws blood is called a "Phlebotomist" or "Phlebotomy Technician." Certification

Upon successful completion of the class, students may sit for the national exam.
