Patricia Gideon had been in the Radiology Technology field since 1986, and is registered/licensed with the ARRT and the MRT (Texas). She is experienced in all aspects of radiography, and is a specialist in Mammography. She received her Associates of Science degree from St. Petersburg Jr. College, graduating with honors in Radiologic Technology, and her Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from Southwest Texas State University where she graduated Suma Cum Laude in the field of Health Science Technology. Ms. Gideon has been the recipient of the Mallinckrodt award and is listed in the National Dean’s List, 2002. As the clinical coordinator for the program, her responsibilities include coordination of the clinical portion of the program, clinical supervision and didactic instruction. Ms. Gideon conducts workshops and meetings with clinical instructors and coordinates evaluation of students, clinical instructors and clinical sites. She also makes regular scheduled visits to the clinical sites. As an instructor and a radiographer she is actively involved in continuing education on the local and state level. Ms. Gideon is dedicated to the education and placement of qualified radiographers in the workforce.
