Navy Tech Prep
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, the US Navy, the Texas Education Agency, and Blinn College have a specialization degree in law enforcement to compliment the Law Enforcement certificate. In agreement with the Texas Tech Prep High School program and the United States Navy, articulated hours in criminal justice will be awarded by Blinn College to students that meet the required criteria. The law enforcement option degree also articulates credit hours from any Texas TCLEOSE (Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education) accredited police academy. One requirement that must be met to receive credit is that the student must enroll in Blinn College and complete six (6) credit hours towards this degree before articulated credit will be submitted to registrar. High school students and college students interested in entering the US Navy Masters of Arms (military police program) should contact the Blinn College Criminal Justice coordinator to meet with the appropriate Navy recruiter.
