CLASS RULES
- Show up on time and be prepared.
- No drinks, hats, or beepers.
- Students are expected to read assignments prior to class.
- Students are encouraged to participate in class discussions.
- Assignments may be assigned at discretion of instructor and should be completed on time.
- If any student has any disability, please notify the instructor so that the proper
accommodation can be arranged.
- Make-up exams are given only in extreme cases where the instructor is notified prior to the
test; medical notes are expected as well as documentation supporting other excuses. If you
miss an exam due to lack of attendance, failure to follow the syllabus and/or other
unacceptable reasons, you will receive a "zero" for that exam and will need to drop the
course.
- Pursuant to Blinn Policy, students are expected to attend class on a regular basis and any
student who misses more than five classes is subject to being dropped from the class.
- The instructor reserves the right to modify the class schedule as the class proceeds.
- Grades will be determined on four exams with each exam counting as 25% of the student's
final grade. The final test will not be comprehensive.
- Assignments will be given out periodically throughout the class. Students are expected to
complete all assignments and turn them in before the due dates. In addition, pop quizzes will
be given throughout the semester in order to encourage both participation and attendance.
