The Real Estate Program is designed to provide basic employment skills for individuals seeking employment in Real Estate, as well as to upgrade the skills of those presently employed in the industry. Real Estate courses are offered during the day and online. Moreover, you can complete the program in as little as one semester or you can even complete the program gradually while pursuing other majors. Our real estate program satisfies the educational requirements of the Texas Real Estate Commission for Salesperson license. Career opportunities in Real Estate include sales, brokerage, appraisal, finance, property development, counseling, education, and insurance.
This is a TSI-waived certificate. Students declaring this major are NOT subject to the TSI regulations unless they enroll in a course outside the Real Estate curriculum. However, certificate students will be required to take the TSIA placement test.

Can I get financial aid for the Real Estate Program?
No, you cannot receive federal or state financial aid (grants and loans) for the Real Estate Program. Students can utilize their Hazlewood and VA educational benefits by contacting the Veteran Services Office. Students can apply for alternative credit based loans available through a variety of lenders. In most cases the loans will need to be certified by the financial aid office.
