Associate Degree Nursing

Welcome to the Blinn College Associate Degree Nursing home page!  Did you know that nursing represents one of the most in demand careers in the nation?  Job opportunities for nurses abound not only in our community but across the nation.

The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN) at Blinn College is a two year course of study preparing men and women to serve as nurses in our community and beyond.  In addition, to our two year generic track, we have a LVN-Transition program that helps Licensed Vocational Nurses transition to a Registered Nurse in one year.  We also offer the opportunity for students to transfer into our program from other nursing programs from other colleges/universities.

The ADN program has highly qualified faculty, experienced in a variety of healthcare areas who work closely with students in the simulated practice laboratory and in actual clinical settings.

In addition we have:

  • High pass rates on the state board (NCLEX) exam
  • BCNSA- Blinn College Nursing Student Association
  • FRNC- Future Registered Nurses Club
  • The faculty at Blinn College is committed to helping you develop professionalism…excellence…caring…and success in nursing.
