Welcome to the Blinn College Associate Degree Nursing home page! Did you know that nursing represents one of the most in demand careers in the nation? Job opportunities for nurses abound not only in our community but across the nation.
The Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN) at Blinn College is a two year course of study preparing men and women to serve as nurses in our community and beyond. In addition, to our two year generic track (taught on the Health Science Center Campus in Bryan, TX), we have an LVN-Transition program (taught at both the Health Science Center Campus and the Schulenburg Campus in Schulenburg, TX) that accepts Licensed Vocational Nurses and prepares them to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) in one year. We also offer the opportunity for students to transfer into our program from other nursing programs from other colleges/universities.
The ADN Program has highly qualified faculty, experienced in a variety of healthcare areas who work closely with students in the simulated practice laboratory and in actual clinical settings.
In addition we have:
Fall Admission: March 3
Spring Admission: September 15
Summer Admission (LVN-Transition Students ONLY): March 3
Blinn College admits generic students to the Associate Degree Nursing Program in the fall and spring. LVN-Transition students are admitted in the summer (last week in May).
