Non-Discrimination Statement & American with Disabilities Act (ADA)

The Associate Degree Nursing Program of Blinn College is non-discriminatory in regards to race, religion, color, sex, age, disability, and national origin or any other constitutionally or statutorily impermissible reason. Blinn College would like to help students with disabilities achieve their highest potential in college. In order to receive accommodations on examinations or assignments, proper documentation must first be provided to the Office of Disability Services located in the Center for Student Development on the Bryan Campus. You must then self-identify and conference with the ADA Office to begin receiving accommodations in class. This documentation from the ADA Office must be provided each semester to each instructor. However, in order to meet Program objectives and perform job duties required in the nursing profession, the student nurse must demonstrate basic competencies.
