The Blinn College Geographic Society was created for students interested in geography.

Our goal is to let students gain geographic knowledge and field experience while they pursue their studies at Blinn College.

To achieve our goal we will strive through the use of guest speakers, field trips and exercises to:

• interest students in geography as a discipline
• discuss the various subdisciplines within geography so that students have a greater understanding of the discipline
• provide practical, real world experiences for students who want to gain a greater understanding of geographic principles, research and field methodology
