Constitution

ARTICLE I

The name of the organization shall be the Blinn College Art Club.

ARTICLE II - PURPOSE

The purpose of the Blinn College Art Club is to promote liberal arts on the Blinn campus and in the Brenham community. It will be an essential goal to open the eyes of our community to the beauty of art.

ARTICLE III - QUALIFICATIONS OF MEMBERS

The Blinn College Art Club is open to all Blinn students with an acceptable academic standing and an appreciation of art.

ARTICLE IV - OFFICERS
SECTION I. The Blinn College Art Club shall have officers as follows:

1. President

2. Secretary/Treasurer

SECTION II. Duties of the Officers

1. President - Preside over meetings, organize planning activities, and demostrate leadership qualities.

2. Secretary/Treasurer- Keeps records of all meetings, takes care of correspondence, responsible for all funds and the accurate record keeping of all income and expenditures.

SECTION III. Elections

Elections of officers will be held once a year during the first meeting of the school year. A majority vote will be necessary for an officer to be elected.

ARTICLE V

Officers and Club advisor will determine when the meetings will be held.

ARTICLE VI

Any member may propse amendments ot this constitution. Amendments shall become effective if approved by a two-thirds vote of the membership.
