Sigma Kappa Delta
The purpose of Sigma Kappa Delta, a national English honors society, is to confer distinction for high
achievement in English language and literature in two-year institutions of higher education, to provide
cultural stimulation on campus, and to promote the advanced study of English language and literature.
The Blinn College--Bryan campus chapter is also intended to encourage excellence in academics, to
promote community among its members, and to develop leadership among qualified students of this
college.
