Radiologic Technology Association
The Radiologic Technology Association is affiliated with the Texas Society of Radiologic Technologists (TSRT). Membership is open to pre-radiologic technology students and students enrolled in the radiologic technology program. Its purpose is to participate in school and community functions and to promote the profession by participating in educational functions such as seminars, workshops, and tournaments at the local and state levels. Annual activities include participation in: X-raying of Halloween candy, career day awareness, Walk-America for the Heart Association and March of dimes, hosting seminars/ workshops for the profession of radiology, and fund-raisers to attend the educational tournament at the state conference.
