John Dujka

Music Instructor, Composer, Pianist

Dujka earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music at the University of Houston where he won state and national piano competitions. A member of the Blinn College faculty since 1990, he is an active recitalist and also maintains a private piano studio in Brenham. He serves as vice-president of the Brenham Area Piano Teachers Association and chairman of the Texas/American Ensembles and High School Ensemble. Dujka is a versatile musician who is at home performing classical repertoire, Czech and German folk music, Hebrew and Latino songs, and jazz/pop styles. He is well known in Texas for his recordings and performances of Czech folk music and produces "Saturday Morning Dance Time," a weekly radio program on KULP 1390 in El Campo.
