Blanche Brick

Dr. Brick has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Baylor University in Education, a Master of Arts in Education from George Washington University, a Master of Arts in History from the University of Hawaii and a Ph.D. in Education from Texas A&M University.
Her graduate research was in the History of Education specializing in the Changing Concepts of Equal Educational Opportunity as represented in the works of Thomas Jefferson, Horace Mann and John Dewey. She teaches United States History at Blinn College in Bryan. She was also on the staff of Senator Ralph W. Yarborough in Washington, D.C. and has lived in the Philippines, Pakistan and Indonesia. She has also done graduate work at Oxford University in England. She has written articles that have been published in The Dallas Morning News and The Bryan-College Station Eagle and she has served as a political commentator on election results for KBTX-TV in Bryan. She specializes in social and political commentary on present events from an historical perspective.
